For the first time that I can remember we had a very rainy 4th of July at our house. Of course it did not stop Mom and Byron from making some AWESOME food and we got a little 4th of July fun in between showers. We sure did miss dad though...no more traveling on holidays!

| We were so glad to have Linda (one of my dear friends from teaching) join us for the 4th! Can you believe she was up at 4:00 to do the Peachtree Road Race and STILL made it to join us for dinner and fireworks...what a trooper! |

| What's a 4th of July in Georgia without a few "Redneck Fireworks"? These got a little scary when the boys decided to start shooting bottle rockets at each other. Is this what I have to look forward to?!?! |

So glad you guys had a good 4th, even if it was rainy. We sure need the rain here! Hopefully Brecken liked the fireworks! :)
