The Search is Over!

After we found out we were having a sweet little boy I began searching for bedding that incorporated red and black.  Byron has so much UGA stuff that we just couldn't imagine storing it all and putting it all away so we decided to make the nursery revolve around a lot of the stuff that Byron already had.  Well, come to find out, red and black is not at all an easy baby theme to go with.  Luckily, a sweet friend of ours from church agreed to make Brecken's bedding.  Then the search was on!  I hate for things to "match", but I LOVE for everything to coordinate.  Here's what my mom and I came up with after searching many days and many many fabric stores.

Every room needs an inspiration fabric.  This was ours!  I saw it from across the store and knew it was exactly what the nursery needed...and best of all it was ONLY $7 a yard!  Soooo exciting!

Here are the bumper fabrics.  The polka dot will the outside and the houndstooth and black dotted fabrics will be the inside.  The black and white checkered will be used for the bed skirt and the ties around the crib.

Here are all of the fabrics that will be used for Brecken's quilt.    I can't wait to see the final product!!!
